Meet the Physician Behind this RSV Guide

Dr. Dallin Hubbard, MD PhD

Hi, I’m Dr. Dallin Hubbard—a Utah pediatrician, physician-scientist, and proud dad of seven amazing kids.

I created this RSV FAQ because I know how overwhelming it feels when something brand new comes out—especially for our babies and expecting moms. With Abrysvo and Beyfortus only approved in 2023, it’s normal to have questions, feel cautious, or even a little confused. Whether you’re ready to use these tools, prefer to wait, or are still weighing your options—I’m here to help you sort through the facts with clarity, respect, and zero judgment.

My journey through medicine has taken me from high-tech research labs to some of the nation’s top children’s hospitals. I began training at the University of Utah, where I earned both an MD and a PhD in biomedical engineering and nanotechnology. I completed my pediatric residency at Riley Hospital in Indiana, caring for some of the most medically complex kids in the country. I have done extensive research and training in neonatology for many years.

Over the years, I’ve published research, held a U.S. patent, started a biotech company, and served as a visiting researcher in Ireland. But nothing has shaped my approach to pediatrics more than raising my own seven kids here in Utah.

That’s why I started Direct Care Pediatrics—to give families care that’s modern, accessible, and rooted in trust. No long waits. No rushed appointments. No germ filled waiting rooms. You can text me directly, schedule home or virtual visits, take vitals and labs at home, and get thoughtful, personalized support that fits your family’s values. I’m happy to talk through the evidence, but I also welcome integrative and holistic perspectives with an open ear.

This guide is here to give you real answers—without the pressure, the politics, or the pharma spin.

Let’s keep your kids healthy—and all you have to do is text me if you have any more questions!

Warmly,
Dr. Dallin Hubbard
